Photo proof and re-slab

Photo Proofs are done only for NGC-certified coins. If the coin is submitted to us in its NGC holder, a Photo Proof can be shot while the coin is out of the original holder and before reholdering. If the coin is submitted raw or in another grading company's holder, we cannot do a Photo Proof until it is certified by NGC. The resulting certification number is an integral part of the Photo Proof.

Thank you. The coins I was thinking about are NGC certified, but in old scratched up slabs.

Can they do Photo Proof at the on-site grading - Like FUN, Long Beach etc ?

thx, GAB

Unfortunately, no. We can certainly reholder coins onsite at the major shows, so long as you get the coin to us by noon on Friday, but the Photo Proof imaging equipment does not travel to the shows.
