Will a Jefferson nickel or a Roosevelt dime sent in for modern service get the FS / FB designators if they deserve them or must the coins be resubmitted for designation review?

All coins sent in for grading will be examined for the PL, DPL, Cameo, Ultra Cameo, Full Bands, Full Torch, Full Step, Full Head, Full Bell Line, and star designations as part of the grading process. If they meet the criteria for the designation they will be labeled as such. If however you feel that the coin deserves the designation or was graded before the designations were introduced, you can resubmit the coins for designation review. The coins submitted under designation review will be examined for designation only and if they meet the criteria for the designation they will be given that designation. All coins sent in for designation review are also reholdered.
