If a slabbed pattern is sent to NGC, can it have energy dispersive non destructive x-ray analysis done to determine metal content and be weighed? Can the coin be re-slabbed at the same grade OR UPGRADED (if appropriate) and have the metal and weight noted on the holder?

We would need the coin to be raw to perform the x-ray analysis test, and yes, we can note the weight and test findings on the holder label.
