NO "S" spots

I was looking through my proof sets and came across 3 of my no "s" proof sets and upon close inspection saw a bunch of black spots on the "expensive" coins. Is this something that you can remove, and if so, how do I proceed from here? The coins are still in the proof sets.

Thanks

Spots are common on most coins. They are many causes but most can be removed successfully. Copper is a little more difficult than most. Often, the spot can be removed but trace discoloration from the coin reacting with the spot may remain.

White spots, which are most often seen on proof Kennedy halfs, are usually not conservable. These spots, which look like small dots of paint, are going to be a permenant part of your coin. Solvents do not appear to have any effect on them.
