NGC does not certify privately produced test pieces such as P-5380. We do certify items that can be traced to the U. S. Mint, such as Martha Washington/Mount Vernon test coins of 1965 and later years, and the GM "roller press" cents, such as P-4060. These are believed to have been struck entirely within the Philadelphia Mint.
