albums for gold coins?

5 posts in this topic

like a dansco album for saints, indians, $1's etc? i know raw gold is 'risky' but i'm into sets.. and 'registry sets' aren't my thing. i've got a few in capsules, but i'd rather slip em in an album and see how many holes i need to fill for a full set..... i can't find such a thing. is that because it's just a bad idea grin.gif

a line of dansco's for gold would be slick

that's what i think

I doubt there are any modern ones since it's just not a set most people pursue in albums today. You might find some older albums for them, but I am not even sure if Wayte Raymond ever made one. As for it being a "bad idea" nothing could be further from the truth!

No company has ever produced an album for gold coins by date. Capitol Plastics has done custom orders for rigid acrylic holders, but these are not stock items. Dansco will do custom albums but, since USA gold coins require mostly non-standard openings, this could get very expensive.
