Garde or Details

Is there a way that I can specify that when I submit a coin if you won't grade it it(body bag) you will still holder it with details?

Hi,

 

NGC does not detail grade any coin that cannot be encapsulated due to a problem with the coin, however, our sister company NCS does holder coins that have problems with a details grade and notation of the problem, and in my opinion, a very attractive holder.

 

If your coin in question has a spot or surface problem that could possibly be conserved by NCS to make the coin gradeable, NCS would evaluate the piece and if conservation work is deemed necessary, do so and the coin would then go into the normal grading process and holdered by NGC. If deemed unable to be help the problem coin, it would then be holdered by NCS with a details description along with the pertinent information regarding the coin and its problem.
