Contacting a Member

Probably a dumb question but I was recently contacted by a member through the registry. When I tried to do the same by going to my Home Page and using "Contact Member", it simply sent a message to me. How do I send a message through the registry to another member ?

An interesting speed bump you have there. We'll look at making it clearer.

 

Here's the deal - what it means is "contact THIS member". So when you're on the home page of a particular member, and you click it, you are then contacting that person. Thus, on your home page you were contacting yourself.

 

I would like to add a more generic utility that allows you to contact any member without having to hunt up their home page. Hopefully we can fit that in sometime soon. Thanks for the question / observation.
