Just a couple of French toners. Basically just your average lot superb gem, wonderfully toned coins.

1862-BB (Strasbourg mint) 2 Centimes with a mintage of 2.8 million. Hey, if you've seen one superb gem early copper covered in electric blue toning, you've seen them all.

A nice dusting of blue on the obverse & vibrant blue and red on the reverse.

More blue and red copper. This is a large coin about the size of a US 50c.

An extremely common coin in an extremely uncommon condition. Oh yeah, it's got blue, purple, red, and other multi-color toning.

The Chamber of Commerce issue. While rather common, this one has wonderful purple, blue, and red toning. I have a 50c of the same type with nice, but not as nice, toning.

Well, you will have to sell some of them, you can't keep them all. Besides, French coins are not good for your image. makepoint.gif

Napoleon III has done well for me recently. Must bring back good memories over there.

Those were the good old days. France invaded Mexico and had plans to invade Louisiana during the War Between the States.

Who'd have thought Imperialism was so popular in France.
