1. Will NGC slab the Medal that came with the westward journey sets in an individual slab? Even if it can't be assigned a grade?

 

2. What is NGC's policy in regards to coins that the government says individuals cannot own. For example, a 1964 Peace dollar or 1974 Aluminum cent. If one was to be submitted is NGC obligated to report the coin to the Secret Service or US Mint? Just curious about this one due to other related "conversation."

Hi,

 

1) Yes, we will slab and grade the Indian Peace medal that was included in the Westward Journey sets.

 

2) In this scenario, we would not encapsulate the coin and would return it to the submitter.
