1881-S banded Crescent Morgan

I really like it when they get that dark purple near the edge. Also, aren't 1881-S Morgans the best date for this type of toning? 893scratchchin-thumb.gif

Hey yeah man, that's a decent banded crescent rainbow toned Morgan!

Now is it "A" B" Ah, never mind. smirk.gif

Actually, it can be found on almost all the common dates that existed in bag quantity into the 1960s.

I really like the color separation on those bands. I like that dark emerald green color even more. Super looking coin.

Thanks. I spotted it on Teletrade, and though their images showed the crescent, they didn't show the bands. I really scored on that coin.

Here's another one, though the bands aren't so tight. NGC MS65*:

Jonathan, there are plenty out there, and a lot you can buy for under $100. Just keep your eyes out on eBay and Teletrade.
