Hello everyone,

 

It is difficult sometimes to distinguish between a true DD and a machine DD. I understand that if ti looks like a step then it is machine DD.

This 2017 Effigy Mounds Quarter almost looks like it has separate serifs in the letters E PLURIBUS UNUM.

Thoughts?

Not any real notching, the incuse lettering on many of the states quarters are well known and have more pronounced MD.
