Continental Currency 1776 1 1

Hi, I am new to coins, but my grandmother left me a Continental Currency coin and I wanted other opinions on it before I sent it to be professionally graded. I know there are ton of copies, but it did fall within the weight limit and seems to have extremely similar characters and placement. Hoping for some guidance, thanks!

Appears to be one of the many souvenir type replicas that are very common, sorry and welcome to the forum.

I agree with Coinbuf. Looks like a cast replica that someone carried as a pocket piece for a while.

Sorry, but you have a cast replica and a poorly made one at that. The details are lacking due to this being cast and not struck, and in some cases are incorrect to a genuine specimen.

This one comes up all the time don't it? Glad I kept mine in the original packaging all these years. It's almost 50 years old. I think I got it about 1976.
