Continental Currency 1776

Hi, I am new to coins, but my grandmother left me a Continental Currency coin and I wanted other opinions on it before I sent it to be professionally graded. I know there are ton of copies, but it did fall within the weight limit and seems to have extremely similar characters and placement. Hoping for some guidance, thanks!

I agree with Coinbuf. Looks like a cast replica that someone carried as a pocket piece for a while.

This piece is a replica with weak details that actually bears little resemblance to a genuine example of this rare type. Compare it with these images from the NGC Coin Explorer:

Hello and welcome to the forum!

Sorry, but you have a cast replica and a poorly made one at that. The details are lacking due to this being cast and not struck, and in some cases are incorrect to a genuine specimen.
