1943 s penny error?

I don't know what to think except to acknowledge I do see a few irregularities. For example, the letter I in liberty was purloined.  The chances they will catch that goniff is slim.  The letter R is filled in and the letter L appears to have lost its left foot.

I do not know where this fits on the continuum of oddities, but I would put it away, nevertheless.

    When you post a topic on this forum, please ask a specific question.  What about this coin do you think constitutes an "error"? Additionally, please include full, upright images of each side of the coin that are cropped to minimize the surface surrounding the coin.

   From the images you have posted, it appears that there are die chips that affected the "L", "I", and "R" in "LIBERTY" and the lower portion of the "3". Such minor anomalies are quite common on high mintage coins and are considered to be quality control issues, not mint errors. (1943 cents, an emergency issue, are composed of zinc coated steel, which is hard on dies.) Compare the once popular coins shown in the following topic:
