powermad5000 Posted July 11 Share Posted July 11 Hello and welcome to the forum! I third the motion that this wheat cent is just a damaged circulation cent and has had a rough life. I have many Lincoln Wheat cents from circulation with different levels of damage (some worse than this), but I still keep them regardless as some have surpassed 100 years old and others are getting to that age.
