The doubling for the business 1971 s? Which variety, not sure.

Which do you think it is and why?   Also, it is not advisable to hold a coin in this fashion, only by the side of the rim so as not to impart skin oils onto the coin.

:ohnoez:    doh!    (tsk)   You should NEVER lay a coin in the palm of your hand or on your fingers like that! You will impart your skin oils directly onto the surface and ruin both sides of the coin in the process!

As for the alleged doubling, with the photos you have provided here, they are not sufficient closeups for me to be able to see if it is any of the possible DDO varieties for the 1971 S Lincoln Memorial cent. If you could provide better cropped closeups of both sides of the coin and also areas needed to ascertain such variety such as the date, motto, and legend on the obverse, it would help with your question. No skin and more coin.

Even by increasing the size of your photos, I can’t see any sign of DDO.
Please be specific where you see it . Also no more fingers please.

Where's Mike?  Nice clean whorls, right?  Gotta give credit where credit is due!  🤣

Mike will want to also see nails, but despite clean hands, he will still say something about the handling of the coin. xD
