At Balt coin show I saw a dealer using a barcode scanner directly into Excel showing not only the cert # but also description like 1944-S WL half Pcgs ms-63. I spoke to him and he assured me that’s all I needed Excel and a barcode scanner. I saw it work and could not believe it. I thought I would need CCE but he said no. is this possible ?? I knew it would give me the cert # but was shocked it gave description I was planning on getting a program with 6 billion upc codes and see if that worked years ago I did use Hertiage system and bar code scanner but about 20% were wrong or not valid ANY idea how to quickly inventory 500 slabs into excel ?? help .
