Just to make sure nobody follows this “suspect” advice, gold plating any coin will not add any value to the coin and certainly would not allow it to be graded making it worth an increased value. Look for example at all the “gold plated” state quarters are worth. Exactly 25 cents! Anyway, gold plating will NOT increase the value of your numismatic coin if done today.
