A split or cracked die would result in a raised area.  That looks incuse.  Likely just PMD.

Not a split die, looks more like a long scratch.

Food for thought...could that be a strike thru from a piece of wire that got into the dies?

   The photos are too blurry to tell for sure whether the anomaly is just a long, deep scratch or a strikethrough of a foreign object on the dies. There appears to be displaced metal on the sides of the anomaly, which would indicate a scratch.
