Clay1492
I read an article about a mule clash on a Seated Quarter. I think it was an 1857. It was clashed with a fly eagle cent. It looked similar to one I thought I had seen on one of my coins but I couldn't remember which until I ran across it today. I was just curious to see if this is a normal clash. It's especially evident on each side of the eagles neck. Probably normal but thought I would ask. Thanks!
ldhair
I think I can see some tiny clash marks. If so, it would be a normal clash. It's nothing like the 1857 clash. I could post an image of it if you would like.
Clay1492
That would be very nice of you. I would like to see it! Thank you very much!!
ldhair
This is the 1857 quarter. The reverse shows the die clash with the 1857 cent die. Tough coin in any grade.
