Quarter barber with "cut throat" 0

I had this quarter in my collection for too many years, and just recently I noticed the throat damaged that come from the word "WE" all the way down to the throat. And I don't see any damage on the reverse side... Correction: There is damage on the reverse side, on the same side of the cut on the throat, but opposite side to the cut on the observe side. What it is worth?

Welcome to the forum, I do not know what reverse you are looking at because the rev photo you posted has lots of damage on it.

I just noticed with the picture, it is in the same side but opposite to the cut on the throat.

Looks like it took a really hard hit from something pretty good size. It cut into the obverse and dented the reverse also. Post Mint Damage.
