I've never heard of anyone placing any value on this characteristic or seeking out such pieces. That doesn't mean that you can't find it interesting! (I often prefer to buy the "uncirculated" versions of modern mint commemoratives, as they may show more fine detail than the proofs, as well as usually having lower mintages.)
