Hi people.

Please advise on best and worst case scenario on value of this coin?

Worst case: Actual gold melt value minus dealer markdown - around $425 or so right now.

Best case: about $1100 -$1200.

Two examples, both graded NGC MS62, sold at Heritage auction on October 29, 2021 for $1140 each, including the 25% buyer's premium.

This was a beach find with my metal detector in South Africa,  ! sent it to have graded

Just looked at the photos. A very nice find. That will sell for much more than melt - so worst case, isn’t really near melt.
