1953 S Nickel question 0

My 1953 Nickel' S words seem very thick and block compared to others. Is this normal for the coin? Or is this an error? Its on all text but "Monticello".

Bsshog is likely right on in his assessment, but since you're new, I just want to give you a tip......for us to properly evaluate coins from photos, we're going to need much better photos than what you provided going forward.  A basic rule of thumb would be clear, crisp head on photos of the obverse and reverse of your coin.  Just a tip for going forward is all.  Welcome to the boards!
