That coin's way too far gone....I don't think anything can help it.  It looks like heavy corrosion and I don't think there's anything you can do to help it one bit.

Well... we know it was minted 1959 or beyond.  Like the others said, it's best just to spend that one, and try again.

Like Mike said, it could be a nice, risk-free test / trial coin. You really can't make that situation worse.
