Submission returned coin as plated.

Hello, I submitted a couple of patterns to certify a few months ago and they returned today. The thing is that one of the patterns returned as error strucked on bimetallic planchet (6062573-004) and the other one returned as plated (6062573-007).

Of the one that came back as plated, I submitted another coin of the regular issue of the same year (6062573-003) and it came back normal, MS65. But the reason of submitting that regular issue was that you can compare between them, the regular strike is made of zinc-alluminium alloy, otherwise, the pattern that I submitted is made of copper, the weight difference between them is notorious.

My questions are, how can I get the right holder for the first one, is there any way to do it?

How can I get the second pattern encapsulated and properly, should I pay the metal analysis from you so you can actually check the metal compound and label it as pattern?

Hello I.quintero,

Thank you.  I have asked our Customer Service team to send you an email to have these sent back to us as a Mechanical Error.  There will be no charge to have this corrected.  If you do not have the email by this time next week, please let me know.

Thank you,

Lisa
