You shouldn’t. I can’t think of ANY reason to have a 1962 U.S. cent graded. Now if it’s a truly Mint State 1962 British Penny, I can see having it graded. As a U.S. Cent, only if it is utterly flawless at 5x magnification should it even be considered. And I mean you can’t find a mark on it.

You can follow the directions on the main NGC website.   On the main page you will see a menu bar with submit as one of the menus.  Hover over that and a list will appear, choose how to submit and follow the directions.
