The Official Red Book of half & large cents gives Cohen & Breen numbers, as well as Bowers-Whitman numbers. I have a copy. Do you need information about a specific coin or group of coins? Do you need to borrow the book?

Looking for only the proof half cents so just a scan or photo would be great. No going to be published - reference only. I don't have any half cent books. This relates to restrikes and pattern coin sales.

You just need it for the Proofs?  For the most part Cohen didn't assign numbers to proof only varieties.

1825 B-2 C-2 proofs and business strikes

1826 B-1 C-1 proofs and business strikes

1828 B-2 C-3 proofs and business strikes

Conder101 - Thanks a bunch. That should take care of it. I appreciate your transcribing all that to post here!

Just Bob - I guess that makes the photocopies unnecessary, but I appreciate the kind offer.

The info is all part of research on coin restrikes and patterns in the 1836-1885 period. Half cent proofs, especially of the 1840s, are being examined as one of the examples.
