this coin is just damaged.  It was on top of another coin and struck with something on the reverse.

Agree, just damage,  there is no way that happened during the striking of the coin.

Something has been punched on the Reverse causing a bulge on the Obverse.

Oh, that one's SO TRUE Kurt.  Etsy is a total cesspool.....it's the vile, disgusting pit of raw sewage that the "Pac Man" cent and many other horrors emerged from.......I wish Etsy would get shut down or at least would make it so people couldn't sell coins there.
