It's light, but wear might account for that. 5g is the weight at mintage, but it's possible for a heavily worn coin to lose a lot of metal over its lifetime. Still part silver, though.

In looking at the coin, I think Jonathan has this just right.....the coin is well worn, so the weight difference is likely due to wear.
