1838 Rotated Die Large Cent 1 1

Hi all. I was going through my collection recently and I found that this 1838 large cent has a rotated die. It is a pretty beat up coin, probably cull, but I was wondering if this coin could carry any value because of it's unique error.

Also I promise that this is a genuine rotated die. I didn't just take a rotated picture.

Yep, it's a beat-up cull. Rotated dies like this are not unusual. No value.

That head type was discontinued after 1835. If you're seeing what looks like 1838 it's probably 1833.

If my understanding of the authentication and certification process is correct, this coin, lacking a definitive date, is not eligible for evaluation.  It's only claim to fame is no other coin of this vintage has been found in a more unfortunate condition.

Not eligible anyway. Heavy corrosion.
