Considering that both sides are evidently the same, yeah, that would guarantee it was fake.

If however you simply posted two photos of the obverse, without electing to include one of the reverse, then it's probably authentic but plated. The wicked scrape would seem to bear that out.

Just an observation here, and JKK may be referring to this too in his post above... not sure, but you posted the same pic twice of the 1851. You said you also have an 1859? Just curious.  JKK knows his stuff, me on the other-hand....., I'm just a baby squirrel trying to find a nutt........ and learn as much as I can here.

Its color is irrelevant, as the coin is fake. There's poor detail on the Liberty figure, and the date is puffy.

They all look fake to me.  I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but that's the situation, sadly.

@Emmy1, if you bought these as original gold coins I would suggest that you return them for a refund.   If these were advertised as replicas or copies then you got what you paid for.
