Based on the picture provided, the coin looks like a cleaned AU example, worth approximately $35. If you post other coins in the future, it would be better to show both sides and if you have specific questions, ask.

Agreed. If the mintmark were an "S" or maybe and "O over CC" the coin would have much higher value to collectors. (The mintmark is on the reverse below the wreath bow.)

It would appear that you got what you were promised, glad that you are happy and it turned out well for you.  The coin looks to grade AU at the highest, (would need to see both sides to say more on the grade) enjoy your new purchase.
