1943 P Jefferson "double EYE"? 

1994  P Matte finish? (next to 1993-d)

1987 P Matte finish ( next to 1996-d)

The 1943 looks to have some die erosion or strike doubling, I don't see anything else on it.  The two modern Philly coins have more wear than the Denver pieces, for what its worth I have noticed that many times the Philly coins from circulation are less brilliant than those from Denver or SF.  But neither look to be satin or matte finishes.

I have also seen information about a “hook ‘3’” Here’s the reverse too.

Hey guys, I’m revisiting a previous post of mine regarding a 1943 P Jefferson Nickel. I had noticed a funny hook on the three and one poster thought there might be some doubling on the eye. After reading the following article, I wonder if this could be a 3 over 2 with the entire date rest stamped.

Your coin isn't a 3/2.  Some 1943 nickels have a small die break/gouge that makes it look like a 3/2.  Look at the lower inner part of the 3 on the authentic example you posted.  You can see the flat of the 2.  Also compare the "hook"  The 3/2 needs to match exactly.
