It's great to see some familiar names in the winners for major awards like Fentucky Mike, BlakeElk, Star City Homer, and Jgenn. Good luck to you with your eligible sets! 2021 starts now! Or maybe Monday? It's like an American election cycle, but actually fun! While a few of my sets are eligible (because they have at least 75% or more NGC coins) none of them are the kind of sets that ever win the money categories and none of my sets; that do get considered for the money awards; are number one sets anyway so I knew I had no chance to win. I would need to win the lottery to have any chance to win anything other than best in category, which is still a nice accomplishment for someone of my financial means. Best in Category is still a win. "Best Presented" is still a monied win and the Journal Awards are in the money now. So you don't need the lotto sometimes. My wife told my 4 year old to congratulate me today and, in explaining what I won, it was that I write well. And that pretty well sums it up. I like writing about what I like, and if you write about coins and currency here they sometimes give you awards. 😆 Ali E., silver1320, Ray, USMC and 2 others 4
