Hello, so I'm still waiting on my cherry pickers guide. But I can't wait no more, thought I would show this and see what your thoughts would be. I'm not understanding these kind of double dies . I'm looking at variety vista ,but don't know what I'm looking for. To me i don't see it. But I took the best pics I can and hopefully someone can help me understand more.  All's I'm saying I look for the doubling, doubling. Not something that you have to see through a scope. I'm thinking it's a DDO 001. Thanks

There's nothing in your coin that indicates a DDO. The actual DDO-001 isn't much to get excited about either, but there is some extra thickness to the date: http://varietyvista.com/01b LC Doubled Dies Vol 2/1959DDDO001.htm

Thanks DWLange, back to looking for the real doubling.

Your photos are very good - just try to reduce the contrast and avoid cyan "blow out."
