I have a 1917 Mercury Dime s mint mark but it has a w on the front of the Corning and I would like to know do all Mercury dimes have a w on the front because of what little research I've done says the W stands for West Point and any Mercury dimes made at the West Point location shouldn't have been in circulation or they were not intended for that any information would be great.

Welcome to the Forum-

You are probably referring to the initials AW for the designer Adolph Weinman which show on all Mercury dimes. The mint mark is on the reverse.

Also it is a good habit that whenever you ask a question about coins, please accompany it with a large clear photo of both sides. This will better help us in answering your question.
