Would this be considered a die crack on Steele's. I'm not thinking it's a die clash,  because the overlay has nothing in that area. I thought it was a scratch until I took a closer look at it.

Yeah, I was thinking it might be something that happened during the process of re-plating. Or maybe damage that was plated over.
