Hinkle
Would this be considered a die crack on Steele's. I'm not thinking it's a die clash, because the overlay has nothing in that area. I thought it was a scratch until I took a closer look at it.
Greenstang
Don't really think it is a die crack, possibly a slight Lamination. See what others have to say.
Coinbuf
The coin looks polished from the op photos, it could be a lamination or something from the polishing tough to say.
JKK
Reverse looks re-plated.
Just Bob
Yeah, I was thinking it might be something that happened during the process of re-plating. Or maybe damage that was plated over.

Hinkle
What you're seeing is a reverse proof. See the mirror shine. Lol I better stop, the way things are going people would really believe that. Esty and youtubers would have a heyday with this coin.
Conder101
Defect from a replating job.
Big Nub numismatics
Definitely from the re-plating. Depending on how it was done, it could be any anomalous material that was on the coin before, or it may have been just a terrible job with some extra metal.
