What would you all grade this(low) Columbian half?

I was thinking VG.

Also I understand that these Columbian halves are much more common in lower grades then other types.Would this coin be worth anything extra or would it have to be PO-01 to be of value?What about AGs?

I agree with the pocket piece sentiment. At best it's VG8, maybe G6.

Looks VG to me. They are very common in this grade and sell for $3-$8. A true PO-01 will likely bring ~$100.

I would grade it VG-F.

 

If you keep it as a pocket piece, it should reach Fr-2 or P-1 in a decade or so.
