1965 Lincoln double die variety?

Just curious if there is a ddr or a ddo for the 1965 Lincoln cent? I haven't been able to find if there is such coins or not.  Anyone know for sure?  I happen to come across two of them in some special mint sets I just had given to me.   Would such a coin sell or would I be wasting my money ?  I guess I'm just wondering if I should get them authenticated.

Welcome to the Forum

What you have is called Machine Doubling, a worthless type of doubling usually caused by a loose part in the striking chamber that shifts when the coin is struck. No need to get them authenticated as it adds no value to the coin.

FYI- The correct term is Doubled Die as it is the actual die that is doubled.

Excellent photography by the way
