1899 cc Morgan Dollar 0

Hey folks, I've recently come across an 1899 Carson City dollar. Didn't know they made one. Is there  

any possibility it's an error or a really good fake?

If it is dated 1899, then it is a fake.  Last CC dollar was 1893.

They didn't. My information shows last CC Morgan was 1893.

There is no reasonable possibility it's an error. There is every likelihood it's a fake. Since the coin faked isn't even known to exist, to me that's a bad fake, like the 1943 Morgan one of my dealers showed me with a laugh.

Thank you for your prompt responses. Sorry to hear it's a fake. Amazing to think they went to so much effort, weight was good & not magnetic.
