When submitting Carson City GSA silver dollars for grading, should just the slab with the coin be submitted, or should the entire box, COA, and slab be submitted?

Submit only the hard plastic shell holding the coin, as NGC doesn't need the other material and does not return it.

Then I also have to ask the the obvious because the information on the website is contradictory;

1. Will the coins be removed from the slab?

2. Will the coins be returned to the slab?

3. What happens if the slab is broken?

Dear Ed H.

No, they will not be removed from the slab.  These will be graded and banded.  As long as the coin has not been compromised it will still be graded and banded.
