‘76 Nickel Error?

Hey guys, I was looking through a nickel box and found this one. I’m not positive if it’s just extreme wear or some sort of dye/planchette error. It weighs the same as a normal ‘76 which makes me lean towards error. Would like some opinions, thanks!

Please crop and and rotate your pictures, this will help to increase the size. We have to be able to see all the detail of the coin in order to help you.

That being said, from what I can see, I agree with JustBob that it appears to just be a lot of wear. What makes you think there is an error? Don't forget that an error can only happen during the striking of the coin, anything after that is just damage.
