Searching the web for scales, unsure. I figured I might as well ask the people that helped me get this far. Which ones are recommended by ya'll? $20 - $50 or thereabouts. If it takes $100, so be it, just would rather not..Right now I'm just doing beginner stuff, a truck load of 82 d small date pennies etc. to weigh, but might as well get ready for when I progress. Thanks.

i bought a cheap electronic one off of ebay. It has worked very well and I have no complaints. 

things to look for

1. it runs on common AA or AAA batteries,

2. it weighs to at least .01 grams
