There are no true diagnostics, such as a unique die marker, but the satin proofs have a super sharp strike and broad rims but without brilliant fields. Here's an example from NGC Coin Explorer:

I would expect the edges to show the typical broad sharp squared off edge, with near mirror like smoothness typically seen on the edges of proof cents as well.  The edges will NOT have the satin finish.
