Proof Grade with 'W' after grade

Hello all, I'm new to this forum.

I have a 1957 NGC graded 5c, with a grade of "PF 67 W". I can't find what the 'W' stands for? I've had the coin for 18 or 19 years and it has a light cameo on both obv. & rev.

Any insight would be helpful.

Thanks, nobull56

The time frame of your purchase is just about right. It was in 2001, I believe, that W and T (toned) were used briefly.

Thanks all!!

I'm re-inventorying my collection and I've forgotten SOOOOO much. I highly recommend waiting about ten or more years to look at your coins- They ALL look like NEW finds!

Thanks Again, I'll probably pop-up once & a while with more archaic questions. Like best place to get a deal to grade a full set of Franklins that are FBL?
