Silver Hunter
I have a 1963 penny that appears to have been struck on a different planchet then the of copper. The color is uniform with no variations on both obverse and reverse as well as the rim. I am wondering if this is a rare thing? It is non metalic and appears to be of possibly nickle alloy. l.cutler
Not a wrong planchet, it has just been plated. Seems like a pretty common thing they show up pretty often. Edited March 8, 2020 by l.cutler
