1988 Memorial cent long die crack or damaged 0

Looks like a very long die crack

It sure looks like the die cracked in half. Make sure it's not something like glue dribbled across it - the area around T in States for example.

It's not glue tried to clean a little not coming off it's not sticky or anything. Thanks for the response

Wow, great pictures. Do a couple more the rest of the way down the crack. I've never seen a crack like that on a cent so wait for somebody with more expertise. To me it looks like the lower left bits of T and E are offset across the crack.

Don't clean it any more.
