Toning

I’m new to collecting and reading and researching about toning. I picked this coin up and after doing some reading I’m interested in others opinions on whether or not the toning in natural or artificial ... if artificial is this worth the $27 I purchased it for?

I'd grade it AU-50, common date, toning that might possibly be authentic. $27 seems quite reasonable for that. I mean, one can easily buy junkers for $21-23 in coin dealers' trays. I'd give someone $4 more to get AU and some interesting toning, for sure.
